Kra é uma banda de Visual Kei do Japão. Eles assinaram com a PluS label e debutaram em agoto de 2001. Em 18 de março de 2002, eles lançaram sua primeira demo, chamada “Brise”. Em meados de novembro daquele ano, eles assinaram com a PS COMPANY. Kra é uma banda major e debutaram com seu terceiro single, “Heart Balance” em 21 de setembro de 2006. Sua música é mix de pop, rock e um pouco de jazz.

Eles até tiveram uma banda alter-ego chamada 36481?, que lançou um single com o título de “Fiction” e com quatro músicas cover dos outros artistas da PS COMPANY. Fora alguns shows ocasionais como 36481? em 2004 e a re-impressão do single, o projeto paralelo esteve inativo.

Em 13 de dezembro de 2010 foi anunciado que, após o show final da turnê, Heart to Heart ~Kanjou no Rinkaku~, no Shibuya C.C.Lemon Hall, em 28 de dezembro, Mai sairia do Kra e se retiraria da indústria musical, devido uma saúde debilitada. Mas apesar disso, o grupo ainda continua sem o Mai, agora com o Taizo na guitarra.

Kra is a three member Japanese rock band of the visual-kei variety. They signed with PluS label and debuted in August of 2001. On May 18th, 2002, they released their first demo tape “Brise“. Around November of that year they signed on with PS COMPANY. Kra is a major band and debuted with their third single “Heart Balance” on September 21st, 2006. Their music is a mix of pop, rock and a bit of jazz.

They also had an alter-ego band called 36481?, which released a single in March of 2004 titled “Fiction” of four cover songs of other PS COMPANY artists. Outside of occasional lives as 36481? in 2004 and the single’s reprinting, the side project has been dormant.

On December 13th, 2010 it was announced that after their Heart to Heart ~Kanjou no Rinkaku~ tour finale at Shibuya C.C.Lemon Hall on December 28th, Mai would both be departing from Kra and retiring from the music industry, due to continuing poor health. Despite this, the group will still continue on without Mai.^[1]
